Short version

Some links on Bar & Bell are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products we'd genuinely suggest to a friend, and commission never influences which products we rate highest.

What this means in practice

Where a page contains affiliate links, we say so clearly near the top of the article — not just here on this page. Under UK advertising rules (the CAP Code, enforced by the ASA, and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008), affiliate relationships must be disclosed upfront and unambiguously, not buried in small print.
